Regional drainage contractor aims for national growth with unique-to-the-UK remote CCTV investigation unit, provided by Lombard
Cambridge, September 2008 – ADC (East Anglia) Ltd, the Wisbech based commercial drainage contractor, will be the first in the UK to provide a mainline digital camera system suitable for inspecting pipelines up to 2 meters in diameter in the maintenance and repair of large diameter culverts. The Rico Highlander remote CCTV unit, which comprises a suite of robotic inspection cameras controlled from a van based console, will be supported by two new Volvo jetting and pumping tankers through a £330,000 asset finance package provided by Lombard.
Established in 2001, ADC (East Anglia) Ltd undertakes contracts for the inspection and maintenance of commercial main drainage systems with local authorities. It is the Anglia Region framework contractor for the Environment Agency, which sees the company operating from the Humber to the Thames. The new equipment will allow it to consolidate contracts in the north east and grow its business across the UK.
