[29 July 2011] The Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ Manufacturing Excellence Awards will this year feature Mark Prisk MP, the Minister for Business and Enterprise and Alastair Campbell journalist and former government Director of Communications.

Manufacturing Excellence is a business improvement programme which culminates in an awards ceremony, held at The Dorchester hotel in London on November 23. Alastair Campbell will be the compere at the awards ceremony, and there will be a speech by Mark Prisk.
Earlier this month 21 companies were shortlisted, to compete for a total of 11 different awards.
Entry to Manufacturing Excellence is free as it is supported by PwC, Autodesk, PP Business Improvement, The ERA Foundation, Lombard, WMG, Arup, and Barclays Corporate.
Manufacturing Excellence is the most successful and long established manufacturing awards programme in the UK, and the only one that provides such a detailed benchmarking and assessment process to help improve your manufacturing businesses.
