SPINVOX DRIVES BUSINESS GROWTH STRATEGY WITH BACKING FROM RBS

SpinVox Drives Business Growth Strategy With Backing From RBS

Marlow, July 2008 – Announced this week as one of Management Today magazine's top 35 female business leaders of tomorrow under 35 years of age, Christina Domecq, CEO of Marlow-based Spinvox, is embarking on further expansion plans for the business with its new banking partner The Royal Bank of Scotland ("RBS") on board.

SpinVox, the creator and global leader of Voice-to-Screen communications, was launched in 2005 as a service that captures spoken voice messages and converts them into text to be read on mobile phones, computer screens, blogs and social networks. The service is aimed at both business and individual users. SpinVox was co-founded by Christina Domecq and Daniel Doulton, Chief Strategy Officer. It is Christina's third successful business - she launched the first at the age of 20 and achieved a turnover in excess of $14million before selling it on. Daniel has enjoyed professional success in business consultancy, finance and technology at companies such as Arthur D. Little Citibank and Psion, where he launched several world-first products.

At the heart of SpinVox is its sophisticated Voice Message Conversion System™ (VMCS), which underpins its retail, enterprise, service provider and global carrier services. Today the business' head quarters are in Marlow and it has offices in countries including the USA, Spain, France, Germany and Australia. The service is available in four languages – English, French, Spanish and German.

SpinVox was seeking a new, sector specialist banking team to work with its management team as it embarks on further expansion plans, and has switched its full banking facilities to RBS. SpinVox is working with Antony White from the Bank's specialist Technology and Telecoms team. The Reading-based team has expert knowledge and experience of working with customers and local businesses, with a turnover of more than £25million, within the telecoms and technology arena.

SpinVox has previously worked with the RBS Group through its asset finance arm Lombard. Earlier this year Antony's colleague Richard Henderson, led the Lombard Technology Services team in providing nearly £200,000 funds for leasing facilities to supply SpinVox with additional server capacity in the near future. Lombard specialises in asset finance based lending, while its technology division has a special focus in both the technology and telecoms fields.

Christina Domecq, CEO, SpinVox commented:
"Having the right banking relationship is absolutely key to any business. SpinVox is fast-moving and building on a terrific year, having launched on four continents and connected with millions of new customers. Working even more closely with RBS will help us to drive the business to new highs. We have a great service and a fantastic management team in place and have found that customers quickly recognise the business and personal benefits of adding SpinVox to their mobiles"

"We are pleased with the assistance we have already received from the RBS team and are looking forward to growing the business further in partnership with Antony and Richard."

Antony White, Relationship Director, Technology and Telecommunications at RBS Corporate Banking in the Thames Valley added:
"SpinVox is a unique business with a fantastic service that will become increasingly used by mainstream consumers around the world. Its rollouts with 12 telecom giants such as Alltel in the United States, Vodafone Spain, Rogers Wireless in Canada and Telstra in Australia are just the start of SpinVox's ambitious growth strategy. I look forward to working closely with the management team facilitating the acceleration of its business success."
