Little Monsters Mayhem Opens Supported By Lombard
Manchester, July 24th 2008 – Working Mum Juliette Cameron has fulfilled a long standing ambition to own her own business after launching a children's activity warehouse in Irlam supported by Lombard, the asset finance arm of The Royal Bank of Scotland ("RBS").
Juliette has opened Little Monsters Mayhem, a 12,000 sq ft indoor play centre on Liverpool Road. The facility, which is the first of its kind in the Irlam and Cadishead area, can accommodate up to 120 children at any one time.
The centre-piece of the warehouse is the 'Amazon Rainforset', a three tier climbing frame that can hold up to 90 children and features a four lane slide, a spiders' web and vertical squeezers. The warehouse also includes a toddler's area, indoor sports court, a games and crafts section, a party area and a refreshments area. Lombard provided Juliette with a £90,000 funding package to kit out the warehouse.
Juliette works as an office manager for an engineering firm in Daresbury and is married with a two year old son. She spent many evenings and weekends researching children's play centres across Manchester and Cheshire before deciding on the location and facilities for her business. Little Monsters Mayhem will employ 15 people.
Juliette Cameron, Owner of Little Monsters Mayhem, said:
"Little Monsters Mayhem aims to create a friendly, fun filled environment where children can play and exercise safely. The facility has been
designed to provide mental and physical stimulation for children through uninhibited play. We chose Irlam for the location because the area lacked
a facility that could bring together children and parents from different backgrounds."
Angela Parry, Relationship Manager at Lombard, said:
"Juliette has put a great deal of time and effort in this venture and the thoroughness of her business plan impressed us. She has a clear
vision for the future of Little Monsters Mayhem and we are happy to help support her plans."
