Mike Jolly - Director Asset Finance (Retail) for East Anglia

Mike and his six-strong sales team work out of offices in Norwich and Colchester, operating within Lombard's retail segment.

"Our customers range in turnover from £250,000 up to one million, so they are the smaller businesses in the market and often family run. But this means we can make a real difference when we help finance their operations.

"Working partly from warm leads generated by colleagues at RBS and NatWest, with the other 50% coming from our direct activity, we interact face-to-face with customers who welcome and need this relationship with us. Visiting them at their own premises gives us the opportunity to boost the value of the relationship.

"In fact, in many cases we are working with them to build their dreams. It's a nice feeling to know that you've helped them grow their business - and potentially changed their lives.
